  • 7+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years of experience managing a team of 5 or more engineers.

Responsibilities
  • Architect and develop core cross-cutting services that affect all users.
  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable, reliable, and highly available backend systems that can efficiently process large volumes of data and requests.
  • Collaborate with other teams (e.g., Product, Infrastructure, Data, Frontend) to ensure alignment of system designs with business needs and technical requirements.
  • Drive technical decision-making and continuously improve architecture based on performance, scalability, and reliability metrics.
  • Establish and enforce engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, refactoring, and documentation to maintain high-quality codebases.
  • Empower teams to provide high quality software by removing barriers and unblocking.
  • Support your engineers through empathetic leadership, mentorship, transparency, and accountability.
