The FX Currency Administration Client Service Team Leader will manage a local team of Client Service Specialists to include oversight responsibilities for implementation of client mandates and will serve as an escalation point for client support. In addition to managerial responsibilities, this individual will be required to have a thorough understanding of the Currency Administration Product, be a senior point of client contact and assist with multiple other functions related to business and product development.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage Currency Administration client relationships, ensuring client inquiries are responded to or escalated, participate in client management meetings, and contribute to client service goals.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the daily operational processes relating to all regional clients, through timely and accurate execution of daily deliverables and responding to client inquiries, to the satisfaction of our clients.
- Ensure appropriate coverage is always in place to meet daily deliverables.
- Managerial responsibilities include educating and coaching the team on processes, product developments / enhancements, and client relationship profiles.
- Actively engage with direct reports to support training and career progression as well as individual and team goals
- Contribute to identifying annual team goals, oversee semiannual EDP process, and host regular individual meetings with direct reports
- Ensure appropriate hand off to regional offices to ensure all client deliverables are met daily. Frequent global collaboration with all FX CA teams in the execution of our global client service model for FX CA.
- Lead regular team meetings to receive and provide updates on local market development and assist in developing broader business objectives
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and business contacts in FX, Custody, Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
- BA or Equivalent
- 5 + years of experience
- Thorough understanding of FX Markets.
- Proven ability to manage a team and meet operational goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and to respond effectively to client concerns
- Strong presentation skills and willingness to present in front of internal management and client management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
