Requirements
  • Three to seven years of experience in human resources, People Operations, or Human Resources Business Partner roles, ideally including experience at a startup or fast-scaling company.
  • Experience recruiting and onboarding employees end to end.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with department heads and the Director of Human Resources to open roles, run the hiring process, and close candidates on time.
  • Scope roles, source and screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and close offers for U.S. hiring.
  • Design and run a U.S. onboarding program covering equipment, systems access, paperwork, and organizational context.
  • Serve as the primary contact for U.S. employees on human resources, travel, and administrative questions, including benefits, payroll, travel booking, and job setup.
  • Champion the company culture in the United States through rituals, communication, and team-building moments.
  • Partner with the India Human Resources team to align U.S. practices with global policy, escalate issues requiring global input, and communicate U.S. employee needs.
  • Coordinate with Finance on U.S. payroll, expense policy, contractor and vendor payments, and compensation administration.
  • Troubleshoot day-to-day issues for U.S. employees by resolving them or identifying the appropriate owner.
  • Own U.S. human resources compliance, including employment documentation and Texas state and federal requirements.
  • Manage U.S. vendors and administrative operations, including benefits brokers, travel booking, office and co-working arrangements, and other operational vendor relationships.
