Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate all aspects of clinical operations, including staff coordination, patient flow, and service delivery, to ensure efficiency and compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
  • Ensure appropriate training of employees and provide effective guidance and direction to support staff.
  • Evaluate and monitor job performance and provide employees with feedback, coaching, and development regarding their performance.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements and modifications to ensure work is completed in a timely, efficient, and high-quality manner.
  • Audit workflow and review, analyze, develop, and revise routine operational procedures.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the changing healthcare environment and support and implement programmatic initiatives for care improvement and cost reduction.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of clinical reimbursement and managed care issues.
  • Operate within budget guidelines.
  • Establish and continuously assess the effectiveness of internal controls within the unit and ensure compliance with University policies and procedures.
  • Ensure employees are trained on the controls within the function and on University policies and procedures.
