System Verification Engineer @ AHEAD

The System Verification Engineer is responsible for creating automation and tests that enhances production efficiency as well as reliability and performance of products through AHEAD Engineered Solutions Group. We are looking for a skilled Engineer who will be responsible for developing test scripts to ensure the robustness and reliability of our systems. The successful candidate will work closely with our engineering teams to design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans for various system components.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and design test plans accordingly.
Develop and maintain software tests for system verification, including functional testing, data harvest scripts, integration testing, and performance testing.
Drive development of Forge architecture and feature enhancements.
Document test procedures to ensure comprehensive test coverage and traceability.
Manage tickets for the team ensuring prompt response times.
Assist with creation/updating/training of ISO processes and procedures.
Executing verification services including performance, compatibility and software image deployment.

Qualifications

BS in Computer Engineer, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
Proven experience in developing Python and Bash test scripts for system verification.
Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Knowledge with testing computer components.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Two years of related experience.
Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet.
Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies.
In-depth computer component knowledge.
