Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or another mental-health-related field accredited by the United States Department of Education is required.
  • At least two years of experience in a related field is required.
  • A temporary license to practice, or recognition by the State of Indiana as a Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, is required.
  • The candidate must be working toward full licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
  • The candidate must have diagnostic and treatment-planning skills and knowledge of substance use disorder treatment.
  • A drug screen, tuberculosis test, and extensive background checks are required.
  • The candidate must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before joining.
Responsibilities
  • Use a strengths-based, recovery-focused approach to facilitate addiction and dual-diagnosis groups.
  • Provide individual and family therapy services to individuals with substance use disorders in an outpatient setting.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team with behavioral health professionals and primary care providers to provide integrated healthcare.
  • Support individuals in achieving their identified goals.
Desired Qualifications
  • Community mental health experience is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of social service systems, community resources, legal systems, and child welfare systems is highly preferred.
  • Recognition as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor is preferred.
