  • Availability on the weekend is a must for this role.
Responsibilities
  • Ensures patient comfort and safety during the MRI scan by explaining the procedure, answering questions, and providing a supportive environment.
  • Responsible for operating the MRI machine, selecting appropriate imaging techniques, and adjusting settings to obtain high-quality images.
  • Performs the scanning procedure, ensuring proper positioning and image quality, and inspects images for clarity and identifies any issues requiring adjustments.
  • Screens patients for contraindications to MRI, such as implanted devices or pregnancy, and takes necessary precautions to ensure safety.
  • Completes necessary documentation for each scan, including patient information, scan parameters, and any observations.
  • Responsible for working in their assigned location and must be knowledgeable in setting up the mobile MRI unit.
  • May assist with transporting patients to and from the MRI area.
  • Collaborates with radiologists, healthcare professionals, and other office staff to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
Desired Qualifications
  • Siemens' experience is a plus
  • Experienced in working on a mobile MRI unit, a PLUS, or willing to learn.
