Requirements
  • An Associate Degree or certification equivalent is required.
  • Current Vermont licensure to practice nursing is required.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required.
Responsibilities
  • The registered nurse provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process and in accordance with the Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care.
  • The registered nurse assumes leadership responsibilities, including delegation of work to other levels of staff.
  • The registered nurse ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care.
  • The registered nurse delivers age-specific, direct patient care.
Desired Qualifications
  • Minimum of one year nursing experience is preferred.
