- Drive assigned routes while complying with local traffic laws and company procedures.
- Support the successful launch of autonomous ride-hailing services through safe and consistent vehicle operation.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure each autonomous vehicle is deployment-ready.
- Check vehicle cleanliness, cameras, sensors, mirrors, lighting, and other critical systems before each shift.
- Report damage, unusual vehicle behavior, and maintenance needs to depot and technical teams.
- Support fleet readiness by keeping vehicles available for daily operations.
- Document disengagements, observations, and operational events in reporting tools.
- Provide clear, structured feedback on vehicle behavior, traffic situations, and unusual scenarios from testing or commercial operations.
- Support engineering teams by documenting situations that can improve autonomous driving systems.
- Maintain accurate operating records and complete all required documentation.
- Comply with all operating procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in ongoing training, certifications, and safety refreshers.
- Interact professionally with the public during autonomous vehicle testing and robotaxi operations.
- Support continuous-improvement initiatives for the safety and efficiency of autonomous fleets.
- Experience as a professional driver, fleet driver, chauffeur, ride-hailing driver, or vehicle tester is preferred.
- Experience in automotive testing, advanced driver-assistance systems validation, mapping, or fleet operations is preferred.
- Experience with or interest in electric vehicles is preferred.
- Experience working shifts, extended operating hours, or 24/7 environments is preferred.
