Requirements
  • A valid European driver's license is required.
  • At least five years of driving experience are required.
  • A clean driving history without serious violations is required.
  • The candidate must be able to successfully pass background verification.
  • The candidate must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol tests.
  • Excellent situational awareness and defensive driving skills are required.
  • The candidate must be willing to undertake extended driving in urban and highway environments.
  • The candidate must be able to follow detailed procedures precisely.
  • Good communication and reporting skills are required.
  • Upper-intermediate English proficiency is required.
Responsibilities
  • Safely operate and monitor autonomous vehicles during testing, validation, and commercial robotaxi fleet operations.
  • Continuously monitor self-driving system performance while maintaining full awareness of traffic conditions.
  • Immediately assume manual control of the vehicle when required by procedures or safety protocols.
  • Drive assigned routes while complying with local traffic laws and company procedures.
  • Support the successful launch of autonomous ride-hailing services through safe and consistent vehicle operation.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure each autonomous vehicle is deployment-ready.
  • Check vehicle cleanliness, cameras, sensors, mirrors, lighting, and other critical systems before each shift.
  • Report damage, unusual vehicle behavior, and maintenance needs to depot and technical teams.
  • Support fleet readiness by keeping vehicles available for daily operations.
  • Document disengagements, observations, and operational events in reporting tools.
  • Provide clear, structured feedback on vehicle behavior, traffic situations, and unusual scenarios from testing or commercial operations.
  • Support engineering teams by documenting situations that can improve autonomous driving systems.
  • Maintain accurate operating records and complete all required documentation.
  • Comply with all operating procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing training, certifications, and safety refreshers.
  • Interact professionally with the public during autonomous vehicle testing and robotaxi operations.
  • Support continuous-improvement initiatives for the safety and efficiency of autonomous fleets.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience as a professional driver, fleet driver, chauffeur, ride-hailing driver, or vehicle tester is preferred.
  • Experience in automotive testing, advanced driver-assistance systems validation, mapping, or fleet operations is preferred.
  • Experience with or interest in electric vehicles is preferred.
  • Experience working shifts, extended operating hours, or 24/7 environments is preferred.
