- A current driver's license is required.
- The candidate must have a driving record acceptable to the company's current insurance carrier.
- Proficiency in Windows-based computer software and automotive store applications is required.
- Experience in automotive customer service and service sales is required.
- The candidate must be dependable and reliable for a Monday through Friday schedule from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- The candidate must be able to remain on their feet for most of the workday, including standing, walking, and coordinating parts.
- The candidate must occasionally lift and carry objects weighing more than 50 pounds.
- The candidate must maintain a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment.
- Greet every guest who enters the facility with hospitality and respect.
- Present the best solution to properly repair each guest's vehicle in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Manage the store's workflow effectively and efficiently.
- Sell services consistently and effectively without jeopardizing honesty and integrity.
- Communicate on the phone in a clear, professional manner.
- Build long-term relationships among the store, the service advisor, and the guest.
- Direct, coordinate, and participate in customer-service activities.
- Shuttle guests as needed.
- Ensure that all repairs are performed to proper specifications.
- Work as part of the team and assist other employees as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Five or more years of experience writing service is preferred.
- An associate degree is preferred.
