Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from recognized university; B.Tech/ B.E preferably in CS/IT/Electrical/Electronics.
Responsibilities
  • Manage administrative support to the Project Delivery, Project Engineering, Customer Support teams, and ensure smooth execution of SCADA Projects.
  • Manage, Support and coordinate project workflows that improve Project efficiency.
  • Plan and manage logistics for project meetings, customer visits, trainings, and project events.
  • As a Project Specialist, ensuring smooth execution of SCADA projects. Managing Projects as PM and ensure process is followed.
  • Manage, update project plans, cash flow, monthly budgets etc. under guidance of Governance.
  • Work closely on project tasks with other departments and vendors.
  • Assist Project Managers in checking in detail all the back-up quotes etc. during handover process and highlight missing information.
  • Provide relevant and accurate Information to the Management in a way that is understandable so as to support effective decision-making.
  • Delivering, arranging training for New Joiners.
  • Maintaining Project folders and transmittals.
  • Invoice notifications, follow-up for payment, reconciliation etc.
Desired Qualifications
  • MBA will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in the utility industry/ consultancy will be beneficial.
  • Exposure to Project Environment.
  • Experience in SCADA/Automation domain will be beneficial.

Emerson Acquires AspenTech for $265/Share

Emerson has completed its acquisition of all outstanding shares of Aspen Technology, making AspenTech a wholly owned subsidiary. The acquisition followed a tender offer for $265 per share, with 72% of shares tendered. AspenTech's shares have ceased trading on NASDAQ. Antonio Pietri will retire as CEO, with Vincent M. Servello appointed as President. The transaction was advised by Goldman Sachs, Centerview Partners, and Davis Polk & Wardwell.

Emerson to Acquire AspenTech for $7.2B

Emerson has agreed to acquire the remaining shares of AspenTech that it does not already own for $265 per share, in a deal valued at $7.2 billion. Emerson currently holds approximately 57% of AspenTech's shares. Once the transaction is completed, AspenTech will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Emerson. The acquisition is expected to be finalized in the first half of 2025.

This deal values AspenTech at an operating value of $16.8 billion, with a share price of $265, a 10.4% premium over a previous offer.
