  • Ability to operate office equipment including computers, printers, multi-touch-tone phones, filing cabinets, fax machines, and photocopiers.
Responsibilities
  • Answer prospective guests’ questions and accept reservations while using professional telephone etiquette when booking appointments and handling guest requests.
  • Check in guests, answer questions, and handle guest requests in a calm, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Communicate and describe the spa offerings and their benefits, comparing and contrasting the different services on the menu.
  • Recommend and upsell services that fit guests’ needs.
  • Recommend retail products using knowledge of all product lines.
  • Give tours and describe the spa facility to guests entering the facility.
  • Provide beverage service to guests.
  • Get to know guests who enter the spa.
  • Comply with rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the facility.
  • Maintain the spa facility by performing housekeeping duties, including picking up towels and cups and cleaning shower, bathroom, vanity, and surrounding areas as requested.
  • Uphold spa decor by maintaining the setup and cleanliness of the area.
  • Ensure guest services start on time.
  • Process payments using cash, credit cards, gift certificates, complimentary transactions, and room-charge transactions.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, stocked, and organized work area.
  • Inventory and keep products and supplies stocked.
  • Assist in all areas of spa operations as directed by management.
  • Assist with special projects as requested.
  • Participate in scheduled meetings as requested.
  • Receive services offered on the spa menu and serve as a model for training new therapists when requested.
  • Work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, to meet facility needs.
  • Maintain an understanding of the spa industry and spa philosophy.
  • Maintain a healthy, fit appearance and a positive attitude as a representative of the spa.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager.
