Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, STEAM, or another related field, experience developing data platforms, and at least 8 years of progressive experience in a data-related position.
  • Alternatively, a Master of Science or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, STEAM, or another related field, experience developing data platforms, and at least 4 years of progressive experience in a data-related position.
  • Current United States citizenship is required.
  • The employee must wear company-issued Personal Protective Equipment in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
Responsibilities
  • Help develop an AEDC data governance governing board responsible for establishing and enforcing policies and procedures for managing data privacy, security, quality, and compliance.
  • Design and implement data architecture that enables efficient and effective data management.
  • Find new ways to use data to create new opportunities.
  • Ensure the organization’s data assets are managed, leveraged, and protected to drive business value aligned with the customer’s Chief Data Officer.
  • Work with the Digital Enterprise Manager, stakeholders, and other personnel as necessary to plan and execute Digital Modernization initiatives based on the developed strategic plan.
  • Serve as the technical advisor for the Digital Enterprise group reporting to the Digital Enterprise Manager.
  • Act as the liaison between the customer’s Chief Data Officer and the Digital Enterprise group.
  • Develop and implement a data strategy and roadmap focused on data management, data analytics, and cybersecurity.
  • Oversee the collection, storage, integration, and analysis of data across the organization.
  • Provide insights to support data-driven decisions.
  • Work with the cybersecurity team to ensure initiatives are implemented with a secure cyber foundation.
  • Facilitate and provide inputs and approvals as necessary on business definitions, data quality, data assets, and changes within the assigned domain.
  • Collaborate with other functions to ensure communication and value attainment.
  • Galvanize stakeholders for change management.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in digital transformations and effective digital capability building.
  • Experience leading and executing an Enterprise Data Strategy and building on-premises or cloud-based enterprise data platforms and/or business intelligence initiatives.
  • Strong data, artificial intelligence, data science, and technology knowledge covering data governance, data domains, artificial intelligence models and techniques, digital platforms, cloud services, application programming interface integrations, microservices, DevSecOps, engineering, data security and privacy, and analytics.
  • An advanced degree in Computer Science or another related field.
  • Strong change management leadership and influencing skills with suppliers and customers.
  • Experience in large-scale, multi-year transformation and capability-building efforts.
  • Analytical ability to develop and implement new concepts and tools.
