Responsibilities
  • Manage complex technology projects and programs: Coordinate with Esri consultants to deliver projects on time and within budget, ensuring customer success. Oversee scope, schedule, and budget to deliver meaningful solutions to customers and strategic partners.
  • Engage with our customers: Work with customers to understand the value of location within their workflows by creating outstanding proposals and winning work with strategic customers.
  • Develop and grow business: Support business development by defining project and proposal strategies that further technology and implementation patterns with new and existing customers. Collaborate with Esri’s practice managers and marketing and sales teams to develop new business and actively shape the future of the Delivery Department through your work on cutting-edge projects.
  • Be a thought leader: Advise customers regarding innovative solutions using Esri technology and content to drive better decision-making. Recommend relevant strategies, architectures, and solutions and work with customers to prepare implementation and migration strategies.
Desired Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in GIS project management
  • Knowledge of and experience with technical solutions and implementations and/or robust application development principles and practices
  • Experience with ArcGIS, location-based services, geo-enabled apps, spatial analytics, or similar geospatial technology
  • Experience with current technology implementation patterns, including service-oriented and cloud-computing architecture
  • Relevant industry experience in commercial natural resources (oil and gas, renewables, pipeline, mining, agriculture, and forestry), airports, or state and local government
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Master’s in geography, computer science, GIS, or a related field
