  • Bachelor's Degree, and 10+ years of experience in IT support roles, with at least 5+ years in a senior and leadership engineering position overseeing a team.
  • Certifications relevant to the role (e.g., Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect, or MS Azure certification) – At least one is required.
  • Deep understanding of system architecture, design patterns, and best practices
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams
  • Strong experience with cloud-based IT environments (Google Workspace, MS Azure, Zoom, Slack, GitHub, Atlassian, etc.), with advanced domain knowledge of Okta.
  • Must have experience with Azure and GCP along with SaaS, PaaS and DaaS experience.
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages for system administration tasks
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audience
  • Demonstrated ability to align technology solutions with business objectives and drive positive business outcomes
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
Responsibilities
  • Oversee our customers SaaS offerings from standardized services from the service catalogue.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex information systems, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential system vulnerabilities and performance bottlenecks.
  • Develop and implement strategies for optimizing system architecture and infrastructure.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, security) to define and implement solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Drive innovation by researching and evaluating new technologies and recommending their adoption.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems and processes.
  • Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for critical system issues.
  • Contribute to the development of engineering best practices and standards.
