Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and typically 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Responsibilities
  • Prepare bid packages
  • Develop evaluation criteria
  • Analyze and evaluate supplier proposals
  • Negotiate subcontract provisions
  • Select or recommend new suppliers
  • Administer subcontracts
  • Lead, manage, and administer standard subcontracts agreements
  • Participate and lead minor to moderately complex negotiations of terms, price, and schedule
  • Monitor subcontractor performance
  • Support the identification and development of current and new suppliers
  • Ensure accurate requirements are defined and understood by the supplier(s)
  • Foster and lead supplier-related communication and relationships
  • Act as the Point of Contact between SNC / Program(s) and the supply base
  • Document acquisitions and maintain files in compliance with government regulations, company policy, and best business practices
  • Track progress on subcontracts/POs
  • Identify risks and opportunities, and develop risk management/mitigation plans and strategies
  • Status supply base activity to programs and the SCM organization
  • Support department goals including on-time delivery, negotiations, and PR processing time
Desired Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) compliance
  • Experience working in CostPoint or other ERP systems
  • Proficiency in oral and written communications
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Relevant certifications (CPIM, CSSP, CPM, etc.)
  • Detailed Price Analysis Experience
