Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Inspection, or Manufacturing Quality.
  • At least 3 years of leadership or management experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of precision machining, blueprint interpretation, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Experience with AS9100 quality systems and aerospace manufacturing requirements.
  • Proficiency using inspection and metrology equipment, including coordinate measuring machines, height gages, micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
  • Experience leading corrective actions, root cause analysis, and non-conformance investigations.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee incoming, in-process, first article, and final inspection activities to ensure compliance with customer, engineering, and quality requirements.
  • Manage inspection workflows, priorities, and department performance to support production schedules and on-time delivery.
  • Own key quality metrics, including first-pass yield, inspection cycle time, and non-conformance rates, while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead root cause investigations, corrective actions, and non-conformance disposition activities in partnership with Production and Quality teams.
  • Manage the calibration and measurement equipment program, ensuring all inspection tools remain accurate, compliant, and properly maintained.
  • Support AS9100 audits, customer source inspections, and regulatory reviews while maintaining inspection procedures, documentation, and quality records.
  • Partner with Production, Engineering, and Quality leadership to ensure the highest standards of product quality and customer satisfaction.
