Requirements
  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of pre-sales experience with enterprise software
  • 3+ years of experience working with Cloud providers (AWS, Microsoft or Google)
  • Good understanding of AI/ML in terms of model life cycle, machine learning frameworks, LLMs and RAG architectures
  • Working knowledge and ability to code with two or more modern scripting languages (e.g. Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or popular programming languages (e.g. C/C++, Java, C#)
  • Experience with scalable and highly available distributed systems
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • The ability to travel up to 25%
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience selling databases and/or deploying applications with any of the major cloud providers
  • Experience with data modeling and programming database-backed applications
  • Cloud provider certification (Associate or Professional)
  • A MongoDB Certification
Responsibilities
  • Designing systems, applications, and infrastructure leveraging MongoDB
  • Advising cloud providers’ presales on architectures, patterns, and strategies for using MongoDB
  • Articulating the business value of MongoDB solutions
  • Partnering with Cloud account teams for success in accounts of all sizes
  • Supporting partners and sales with technical activities across multiple opportunities
  • Translating technical concepts into business benefits for management
  • Acting as a liaison between field feedback and Product Management team
  • Driving customer and partner demand within a sales territory
  • Supporting and mentoring other pre-sales team members
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with technical partners
  • Creating strategies for solution architecture within the partner ecosystem
