Position Overview
The Project Coordinator intern position will work closely with the Service Delivery Team in IT. This role will help to support various IT projects through working with the IT project manager and assisting with task coordination, risk mitigation and project communication. The project coordinator, working closely with the project managers in keeping the projects on track and on budget.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Strong communication skills
- Follow up and follow through on task work breakdown and task completion across multiple project workstreams
- Attention to detail and proactive risk mitigation and escalation
- Work closely with project team, assisting in scrum meetings and other type of core team meetings; includes participation, note taking and action item tracking and follow up
- Support project set up through establishing a project sites on SharePoint and Confluence; may work with Jira to track work pending methodology

Required
- Interest in project management
- Experience working through competing priorities and providing actional next steps
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Applicants must be actively enrolled, or within 3-months of graduation upon start date, to be eligible for employment
