Requirements
- An Associate's degree.
- A current Registered Nurse license in Ohio.
- Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification.
- One or more years of medical office experience.
- A minimum of six months of clinical nursing experience.
- Computer literacy and strong proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- The ability to lift 30–50 pounds as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Community Outreach Department with organizing, implementing, and maintaining wellness activities using professional knowledge and experience related to the employee's field of expertise.
- Regularly participate in and promote wellness programs, including public presentations focused on health promotion, disease prevention, screenings, and lifestyle modification.
- Refer clients as needed to Kettering Health Network physicians and services, and track and measure outcomes as mandated.
- Act as the liaison at events and promote and use service lines in developing programs designed to meet community needs.
- Regularly enhance knowledge by staying current with health information provided by nationally recognized health organizations.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Public speaking, teaching and/or mentoring experience.
- Previous experience in Community Health, Health Promotion, or Social Work.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
