Requirements
  • Basic reading, writing, oral communication, and arithmetic skills are required.
  • Computer literacy, including knowledge of Excel, Word, email, and the Internet, with the ability to learn new software applications.
  • Ability to correctly identify and match inventory part numbers at a fast pace.
  • Ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to walk and stand regularly on hard surfaces.
  • Ability to push and pull orders, shipping, and restock carts.
  • Manual dexterity and the ability to regularly reach with the hands and arms.
  • Ability to frequently lift or move 40 pounds and sometimes do so continuously for short periods.
  • Ability to frequently climb or balance on ladders.
  • Ability to occasionally maneuver heavy materials using a pallet jack or hand truck.
  • Ability to work regularly in extreme temperature conditions.
  • Must be available to work approximately 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
  • Pull and double-check customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Restock incoming inventory in the correct warehouse locations and maintain overstock areas.
  • Prioritize customer orders to support same-day shipment for orders received before noon or shipment within 24 hours.
  • Apply company core values in daily duties.
  • Receive and apply direction from the Distribution Center Manager, Distribution Center Supervisor, and Distribution Center Shift Lead.
  • Recognize, document, and report issues or concerns to distribution center leadership.
  • Report injuries within 24 hours of the event.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Report safety issues immediately to distribution center leadership.
  • Communicate ideas for better organization, workflow, and operations verbally or in writing.
  • Perform other duties as required by distribution center leadership.
  • Pack and ship customer orders efficiently, accurately, and promptly as needed.
  • Receive incoming inventory, unpack boxes, and check or scan items against invoices.
  • Integrate new inventory stock using current organizational procedures.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior related experience in warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge of remote-control cars, helicopters, or airplanes.
  • Good organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to take initiative when necessary.
