Production Associate

Responsibilities:

Freudenberg-NOK Industrial Services Division's production packages custom seals for a variety of customers. Working with core inventory, the Production Associate is responsible for all work orders related to the production area. This includes proper verification, production, data-entry and documentation of said work orders. They will cross train with all other production and warehouse staff.

The Production Associate is also responsible for operating a production line, while ensuring adherence to company standards for safety, clean environment, quality, and productivity in order to meet customer requirements.

• Responsible for pulling product, production, and quality inspections on all production work orders. 

• Responsible for recording batch and cure dates accurately.

• Will read work orders and identify any special requirements and packaging instructions. 

• Responsible for the line performance regarding output and uptime

• Responsible for maintaining high quality products by inspecting cord for defects on both raw materials and finished products. 

• Digitally documents process and quality data.

• Responsible for ensuring product is labeled appropriately, relabeling when necessary. 

• Operates and monitors equipment used in the production process.

• Ensures production processes remain compliant with Quality Policies and initiates appropriate measures in case of deviations.

• Cleans and maintains machines and equipment; return any extra material to its original location.

• Maintain all safety and 5S standards.

• Will adhere to all ISO standards and participate in audits. 

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, technical training, or an equivalent credential.

• 1–3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment (preferred).

• Can read work orders, safety instructions, or operating manuals written in English.

• Basic computer skills (preferred).

• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

• Flexibility and reliability to work various shifts as needed.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.

• Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds on a semi-regular basis.

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Shift: 6:00am to 2:00pm
