Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field is required.
  • Three to five years of experience in air quality compliance is required.
  • Knowledge of the Clean Air Act is required.
  • Experience with AERMOD or CALPUFF is required.
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills are required.
  • The candidate must be able to adapt to changing environmental regulations.
  • The candidate must be able to work in potentially hazardous environments during sampling.
  • The candidate must be able to travel occasionally for fieldwork.
  • The candidate must be able to lift sampling equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office business tools is required, including Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Visio is required.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct air quality modeling, testing, and monitoring.
  • Support asbestos abatement and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate regularly with regulatory agencies, project managers, and data analysts to ensure regulatory alignment and deliver actionable insights for compliance and improvement efforts.
Desired Qualifications
  • Certification as an Air Quality Specialist or equivalent is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring devices and regulatory software is preferred.
