Requirements
  • 3-5+ years in developer advocacy/relations with hands-on engineering background
  • Proven conference speaker (share links to recorded talks)
  • Strong technical writer with published work that developers read & share (share samples)
  • Community native with measurable reach (tell us where and how many)
  • Metrics-driven: you've optimized content/events based on data, not vibes
  • Lived the pain of flaky tests, slow CI, or merge hell firsthand
Responsibilities
  • Own events and speaking: Attend and deliver talks at developer and platform engineering conferences. Own the event strategy, build relationships with organizers, and partner with Sales on lead capture and follow-up. Expect ~30% travel.
  • Drive content production: Own the pipeline from ideation to publication—technical blog posts, webinars, demo videos, case studies. Work with engineering for technical depth; you own the output.
  • Embed in developer communities: Show up where platform engineers talk shop. Surface insights to Product and GTM weekly; turn community presence into inbound interest.
  • Own docs and onboarding content: Ship improvements based on friction you discover. Docs are a conversion lever - you're accountable for their quality.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience marketing to platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure teams
  • Prior work at a dev tools company
  • Existing relationships with conference organizers

Trunk.io provides a software development platform that helps teams manage code repositories and merge changes. It organizes code changes into merge queues and uses parallel merge queues so several changes can be merged at the same time, speeding up the development workflow without lowering code quality. The product is delivered as a subscription-based service, typical of software-as-a-service companies. Compared to competitors, Trunk.io focuses on parallel merges to reduce bottlenecks in code integration, making it easier and faster for in-house development teams to release software. The goal is to improve both code quality and developer speed, helping teams deliver features quicker and stay competitive.

Trunk Launches Ci Analytics For Github Actions

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Trunk, a toolkit that helps developers build and ship code faster, announces today the public launch of CI Analytics. This new product allows engineers to analyze, monitor, fix and improve their workflows in GitHub Actions, adding to Trunk’s overall toolkit. It’s difficult for one engineer to keep tabs on the performance aspect of every job in the system or run proper experiments to understand how CI workflows could impact real world performance. Backed by Initialized and a16z with $28.5 million in funding, Trunk was launched in 2021 to create a holistic developer experience toolkit. Trunk CI Analytics builds on that mission by offering teams a complete picture of their GitHub Actions with recent and historical views of their workflows, allowing them to easily validate which pieces of their CI system are healthy or in need of investigation.“ With CI Analytics, we’re pulling back the curtain on the CI blackbox. Without a proper engineering intelligence solution, DevOps and engineering teams are left operating in the dark and engineers are left to guess at what parts of their build and test workflows are slowing down engineering. Trunk CI Analytics eliminates the guesswork with beautiful trend lines, anomaly alerting, and the ability to perform deep historical analysis within a few clicks
