About the position: 

AvePoint is seeking a UX/UI Designer passionate about creating intuitive user experiences for our suite of software solutions. As a Junior UX Designer, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to conduct user research, design wireframes, prototypes, and communicate compelling design solutions.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Conduct user research to uncover user needs and preferences, translating insights into actionable design solutions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups that align with user requirements and product goals.
• Collaborate with senior designers, product managers, and developers to iterate and refine designs based on feedback and user testing.
• Assist in organizing and conducting user testing sessions, gathering feedback, and implementing improvements.
• Work closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in UX/UI design.

What you will bring to our team:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch or similar software.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and synthesizing findings into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for crafting exceptional user experiences.
• Bonus Skills:
  • Experience with front-end development technologies.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and guidelines.
