• Collaborate with R&D and QC personnel to develop and validate complex assay methods for raw material and finished product.
• Assist in the development of new and optimize existing methods for raw materials and finished products.
• Qualify and implement new technologies and instrumentation.
• Assure that instruments used in analytical methods are calibrated and performing properly.
• Write method validation and method transfer protocols in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Execute method validation and method transfer protocols.
• Generate laboratory documentation in compliance to applicable standard operating procedures and guidelines.
• Evaluate new analytical methods by performing required assay techniques and will modify and refine methods.
• Record results of testing in laboratory workbooks, directly on report forms or into the laboratory computer system, making standard calculations as required to obtain final results.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• A minimum of aBachelor’s degree(or equivalent degree) in Chemistry or related science is required.
• Demonstrated competency in basic laboratory skills; e.g.pipetting, solution preparation, weighing.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of chromatography specificallyHPLC, UPLC and LC/MS.
• Exceptional experience in the performance of liquid chromatographic analysis.
• Command of basic data analysis tools. Knowledge of statistics preferred.
• A minimum of four years of experience inanalytical chemistryis required
• Experience with method transfers and validation is preferred.
