Responsibilities

You will work very closely with the Head of Sourcing to drive innovation and adoption of Sourcing technologies
Lead strategic supplier relationships to drive innovation
You will build and develop relationships with Business Partners globally, including operational leaders, legal teams, finance and risk management
Own the development and implementation of key sourcing strategies and buying channels within your assigned domain
Negotiate and drive best-in-class deals for Dropbox. This is a strategic role and will include many of Dropbox's largest enterprise-level engagements
Define and communicate the Sourcing Strategy to Business Partners, Sourcing Leadership and other stakeholders
Drive the realization of top savings initiatives and continuously improve the category return on investment
Build strong relationships with Business Partners to drive Sourcing engagement, and act as the relationship owner with Senior leaders of each categories of spend
Provide continuous written and verbal updates to the Business Partners, Suppliers and other Stakeholders on the status of each deal
Actively seek out industry knowledge though research, trade shows, conferences and online training, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor
Regularly update executives at all levels of the company on deal status, category reporting, etc. This role will have direct visibility to senior-level executives across Dropbox

Role Description

Dropbox Procurement team is seeking a Sourcing Lead to support the overall execution of our category strategies across our Finance, Legal, and Communication investments. The 2 primary functions of this role are: (1) identify and negotiate cost savings and or value add (2) develop category strategies. This role acts as a global category lead and will be focused on material deals and suppliers, partnering with leaders across the company to develop a deep understanding of select suppliers, product and service offerings, roadmaps as well as Dropbox’s business requirements and strategy to execute business goals and objectives.

This role will report into the Head of Sourcing and will look beyond a single tower or issue to identify gaps and drive digital innovation and adoption. This role is part of the Source to Pay team reporting to the CFO Organization. As a sourcing leader, you will link together cross functional teams to drive strategic sourcing efforts across our business, deploy best practices, manage the supplier relationships and mobilize stakeholders to deliver tangible value to Dropbox. This role requires a creative thinker! the business environment we operate in does not fit into a 7 step sourcing process or a simple framework or playbook to follow, it requires creative outside of the box problem solvers.

For candidates hired in the following locations: Austin (TX) metro, Chicago metro, Colorado, Massachusetts, Maryland, Oregon, Washington D.C. metro, California (outside SF metro), the expected salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role is currently $103,900 - $122,200 - $140,500 if you are assessed at the IC3 level. If you are instead assessed at the IC4 level, the expected salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role is currently $124,700 - $146,700 - $168,700.

For candidates hired in the following locations: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois (outside Chicago Metro), North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas (outside Austin Metro), Virginia (outside D.C. Metro), the expected salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role is currently $92,300 - $108,600 - $124,900 if you are assessed at the IC3 level. If you are instead assessed at the IC4 level, the expected salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role is currently $110,800 - $130,400 - $150,000.

Dropbox takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location/metropolitan area, skillset, and peer compensation. Dropbox uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location to determine which metropolitan pay range we use.
