Requirements
  • 12+ years of professional work experience
  • 5+ years of experience leading a product design team, ideally focusing on growth and revenue projects
  • BA/BS degree in graphic design, design communication, human-computer interaction, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey design strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Close attention to detail, ability to structure complex problems and inform decisions with data and first-principle insights
  • Drive, grit, and persistence to take ownership and move ideas to reality in short periods of time
  • Experience in any of the following is a plus: hyper-growth startup environments, software engineering, financial technology
Responsibilities
  • In this role, you’ll report directly to the VP of Design and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Data
  • Drive measurable business growth through pathfinding, experimentation, and optimization by focusing on the entire end-to-end user journey
  • Hire, grow, and retain top design talent
  • Manage, coach, and provide feedback to product and visual designers and leads to deliver the final product
  • Uphold the craft, improve the process: Ensure the design bar is kept high across visual and interaction design, systems, information architecture, and content strategy
