  • Possession of DoD-approved certifications: FITSP-O, GFACT, CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP
  • Minimum three years of full-time professional experience performing advanced systems-analysis functions (requirements gathering, solution design, integration, or performance tuning) in a DoD or comparable high-security environment
  • Ability to independently analyze complex data-processing problems, devise and implement technical solutions, manage system integration activities, and evaluate the suitability of commercial software products
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the principal problem-solver for complex scientific, engineering, and business data-processing challenges across the contract
  • Evaluate existing applications, system-administration processes, and network environments
  • Design and implement robust solutions that improve performance, reliability, and usability
  • Oversee system integration, conduct workflow and capacity analyses, and recommend commercial-off-the-shelf software when it adds value
  • Work closely with program managers, developers, and end-users to translate mission requirements into scalable, secure IT solutions
  • Domestic travel up to 10% of the year (approximately two weeks) for on-site analysis, stakeholder workshops, or system-integration visits at Department of Defense facilities
  • International travel is infrequent, typically less than 5% of the year, only when required for coordination with overseas program offices and subject to clearance approval
Desired Qualifications
  • Strong analytical mindset with proven experience solving multi-domain (scientific, engineering, business) application challenges
  • Expertise in systems architecture, configuration management, and network troubleshooting
  • Proficiency with modeling and analysis tools (e.g., UML, BPMN, data-flow diagrams) and with performance-monitoring suites
  • Hands-on experience with major operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix) and virtualization/container platforms
  • Familiarity with enterprise-level software development lifecycles (Agile, DevSecOps) and with version-control/release-management tools
  • Ability to assess and recommend commercially-available software solutions that meet mission needs while complying with security and acquisition policies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for producing technical specifications, analysis reports, and briefing materials for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, network engineers, and program managers
  • CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or DoD 8570.01-M IA/IA-C/IA-E are preferred additional certifications
