Requirements
  • Experience in sales and/or commercial account management is preferred
  • At least 4 years of experience with Account Management / Customer Success, preferably in a B2B SaaS companies
  • Exceptional organisational and planning skills
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A passion for developing and growing people
  • Ability to articulate clear objectives and goals for the team
  • Strong understanding of broader company goals and ability to implement bigger picture thinking
  • Ability to accurately forecast sales results
  • Strong ability to motivate and manage team performance and build impactful internal relationships
  • Deep understanding of current digital marketing including display advertising, SEO, SEM, Affiliates, and Content Marketing
  • Experience working in a hyper-growth or start-up business
  • Experience of taking a new, disruptive technology to market
Responsibilities
  • Take day to day management responsibility for a team of Account Managers
  • Manage and coach the team to successfully retain and grow their book of business
  • Responsible for all people processes including hiring and onboarding new Account Managers on their team
  • Provide ongoing coaching and training to ensure positive growth and skill development
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders
  • Work closely with teams internally, including Data, Customer Support, Billing, Product & Legal teams to ensure customer success and drive retention and expansion initiatives
  • Conduct regular analysis to understand the root cause of team performance and actions to accelerate growth
  • Directly manage the relationship with accounts when required
  • Develop and iterate upon the Account Management playbook, detailing strategies to engage, retain, and grow accounts
  • Accurately forecast renewal, upsell and cross sell revenues across the book of business
