Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Three years of manufacturing experience are required.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing machinery, equipment, and processes is required.

Responsibilities
  • Execute the maintenance schedule.
  • Schedule employees to perform work related to buildings and grounds.
  • Ensure the area has the materials and supplies needed for facility maintenance.
  • Ensure jobs are completed on time and meet quality standards.
  • Ensure facility systems run efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide employees with on-the-job training and mentoring.
  • Ensure employees follow work instructions and processes.
  • Provide daily updates through the Tier I process.
  • Communicate maintenance issues, schedules, and priorities within and between teams.
  • Implement process improvements.
  • Provide employees with goals, performance initiatives, and areas of accountability aligned with company goals.
  • Ensure employees follow company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage manufacturing enterprise resource planning systems for maintenance.
  • Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical-device requirements.
  • Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work.
  • Partner with sales and marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance.
  • Understand customer needs and the core business markets served.
  • Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly.
  • Participate in required company meetings.
  • Maintain an organized work area using 5S.
  • Participate in the Operational Excellence Program.
  • Complete other assigned work duties.
  • Work in a manufacturing environment.
Desired Qualifications
  • A business or technical degree is desirable.
  • Supervisory experience is desirable.
  • Medical manufacturing experience is desirable.
  • Familiarity with ISO and Food and Drug Administration requirements is desirable.
  • Certifications in a related field are desirable.

Cretex Medical signs agreement to acquire Atemisa Precision, S.A. in Costa Rica. Cretex Medical, a leading provider of contract medical device manufacturing and engineering services, announced today that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Atemisa Precision, S.A. in Alajuela, Costa Rica. Dedicated to satisfying customer needs, Atemisa provides high quality machining services to the medical and industrial sectors in Costa Rica. The transaction is expected to close before the end of the year, subject to customary closing conditions. Cretex Medical's mission is to make it easier to get their customers' products to patients. By integrating Atemisa's precision machining expertise with Cretex Medical's newly constructed facility in Cartago, Costa Rica, the company will strengthen its local, vertically integrated capabilities, including advanced machining, molding, laser processing, and assembly.
