Position Summary:
The Director of Optimize Activation and Operations will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our reporting and analytics solutions solutions. This leadership position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in analytics, business intelligence, healthcare provider network optimization, and a deep understanding of the complexities within the healthcare payer landscape. The successful candidate will lead a team of talented analysts and collaborate cross-functionally, especially with Product, Engineering and Customer Success, to drive data-driven decision-making, optimize processes, and deliver valuable insights to our clients.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the analytics and business intelligence strategy to align with the company’s overall goals and objectives
- Collaborate with executive leadership to identify key business challenges and opportunities, providing data-driven recommendations
2. Team Management:
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team of analysts, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities for team members
- Identify ways to scale the function including the potential utilization of outsourced partners.
3. Healthcare Provider Network and Point Solution Optimization Analysis:
- Drive the development and implementation of healthcare provider network and other point solution optimization strategies, leveraging MacroHealth’s proprietary AI optimization engine to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare payer networks
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for healthcare market partner improvement and cost optimization
4. Client Collaboration:
- Partner with clients to understand their specific analytics, reporting, and healthcare provider network optimization needs, ensuring our software solutions meet and exceed expectations
- Act as a subject matter expert, guiding clients on best practices for leveraging analytics and network optimization to drive business outcomes
5. Data Governance and Quality:
- Establish and enforce data governance standards to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of healthcare data
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement robust data protection measures.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree preferred
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the healthcare payer software space, with a focus on analytics, business intelligence, and network optimization
- Strong understanding of healthcare payer operations, regulations, and industry trends
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing analytics and network optimization strategies that drive business value
- Proficiency in data visualization tools, statistical analysis, and business intelligence platforms

- Outstanding creative problem-solving skills, including the ability to meet business requirements using platform capabilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex analytics concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and technical members at all levels including the executive levels
- Ability to influence decision makers and all levels of management throughout the organization
- Proven ability to create compelling visualizations of complex, structured and unstructured data sources
- Passionate about reducing healthcare costs
- Experience working in and/or around healthcare organizations
- Demonstrates a strong grasp of Payers, Providers, and the US Health Care system.
