The role requires summer commitment and management training in Freiburg; camps may also be located in Freiburg, Heidelberg, Frankfurt-Lahntal, and Engelberg, Switzerland.

- Experience in staff management and leadership in a professional setting.
- Experience working with children or young people in a professional capacity.
- Some German proficiency at spoken B1–B2 minimum and the ability to liaise with activity providers.
- Fluency in English.
- High self-sufficiency, a growth mindset, and a proven track record of solution-oriented problem-solving skills.
- High physical, mental, and emotional resilience.
- High energy, excitement, and comfort speaking in front of large groups.
- Availability during management training in Freiburg from June 16–19 and throughout the summer season from June 19–August 9.
- Collaborate with the Camp Manager to ensure efficient management and smooth running of the camp.
- Supervise teaching and activity staff in collaboration with the Camp Manager.
- Share responsibility for providing an enjoyable, developing, respectful, inspiring, and safe camp experience for students.
- Supervise the activities and excursions programme.
- Manage the Activity Leader team.
- Create activity schedules.
- Manage risks.
- Correspond with external activity partners.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Experience in outdoor education or summer camps.
- A driver’s license and the ability to drive a minivan.
