Job Description:
You will be actively making logistics more transparent, faster, and safer for everyone using our services. As a Driver Operations Manager you will play a key role on the Airspace Driver Team’s mandate of reducing driver cost while enabling growth and maintaining driver coverage and quality.
Responsibilities:
1. You will be directly responsible for performance against the mandate (above) for a subset of markets. To achieve success in this portion of the role, you will lead:
● Driver network expansion
● Driver relationship management
● Driver / system configurations
● Driver quality & support initiatives
● Driver assignments & rates for recurring work
● Market performance reviews
● Approvals for new batches of work
2. You will act as a project lead for strategic initiatives that span across markets.Examples of these initiatives:
● Fulfillment for a new service offering
● Unilateral driver performance measurement
● Revamping tracking and controls for a cost line item
● Strategic dispatch processes
