Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience developing software
  • 5+ years of experience in developing Python-based backends, React-based frontends, or both
  • 2+ years of experience managing software teams, ideally at startups
  • 2+ years of experience in cloud-based software role with architectural responsibilities

Responsibilities
  • Manage Lumafield’s frontend, backend, and QA engineers
  • Oversee project development and delivery for user-facing software on our Neptune, Triton and Voyager products
  • Work closely with product managers and Engineering/Product leadership to align on objectives and deliverables for your team
  • Oversee, tweak, and run Lumafield’s Agile-based SDLC
  • Provide high-level architectural and product input as a key stakeholder in our software development process
  • Get your hands dirty in order to advance strategic initiatives or keep projects on track.
  • Work from our San Francisco, CA office 5 days per week

Its main products, the Neptune CT scanner and Voyager analysis software, allow clients to quickly scan products on the factory line, enabling engineers to detect internal defects.
