DISHER is currently partnering with a global company specializing in manufacturing high-performance engines primarily for the landscaping industry. They are currently searching for a Regulatory Compliance Manager who will be responsible for leading their regulatory compliance activities ensuring that their products comply with all requirements while identifying new technologies and future improvements.

What you’ll get to do:
- Assume the leadership role of the Regulatory Compliance function
- Identify ways to maintain a strong understanding of applicable US and international laws and regulations affecting certification and compliance of products.
- Manager the pre-sale approval and certification programs to ensure that the company will be permitted to market its products.
- Act as the subject matter expert in the field of regulatory compliance.
- Complete transmittal of necessary information regarding product compliance or emission regulations to international engineering staff to facilitate advanced planning.
- Prepare appropriate responses, under the direction of international stakeholders, to proposed regulations.
- Participate in the standards development process, under the direction of international leadership, with standards development organizations such as Society of Automotive Engineers, American National Standards Institute, International Standards Organization, and Underwriters Laboratories.
- Lead technical committee activities withing relevant industry organizations
- Coordinate testing of company products with government agencies and independent test laboratories.
- Educate stakeholders on regulatory compliance goals, both short term and long term.
- Review and interpret compliance standards and regulations and communications findings throughout multiple divisions of the company.
What will make you successful:
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Engineering or Business required.
- 10+ years’ experience in dealing with government agencies.
- 5+ years’ experience leading a team.
- Understanding of gasoline engine operation and emissions.
- Proficient with project management duties.
- A passion for developing and leading a team.
- Competent in navigating compliance requirements within the product development process.
- Able to track multiple projects and due dates.
- Ability to travel independently up to 30% of the time
