  • Active Secret security clearance required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field preferred; Master’s degree highly desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, and cloud deployments, including security, cyber, and data infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing or managing DevSecOps platforms in enterprise or mission environments.
  • Experience interfacing between hands-on technical teams and senior non-technical stakeholders, including creating and managing delivery roadmaps.
  • Experience across AWS, Azure, and on-premises environments.
  • Experience working directly with federal defense customers and defense contractors.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical senior audiences.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary technical lead for the IronSled deployment, coordinating DevSecOps platform delivery to ensure alignment with customer requirements, constraints, and mission priorities.
  • Translate customer mission needs into IronSled platform configuration, pipeline architecture, and secure software delivery workflows.
  • Combine deep technical expertise with strong stakeholder management skills to align senior defense leaders to platform-driven delivery approaches.
  • Oversee the deployment and evolution of IronSled’s CI/CD pipelines, container infrastructure, vulnerability scanning, and ATO artifact generation while mitigating technical, security, and delivery risks.
  • Collaborate with customer stakeholders to integrate IronSled into existing cloud, data, and enterprise IT environments.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation including system architectures, pipeline diagrams, and security workflow specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance and advisory support to customer personnel and partner contractors.
  • Stay current on DevSecOps tooling advancements, container security standards, and evolving DoD digital and cyber requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with customer cybersecurity, data governance, and software supply chain requirements.
  • Manage project deliverables, financials, schedules, and team performance across the full solution lifecycle.
  • Provide clear, regular status updates to senior customer leaders and LMI management.
Desired Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with DevSecOps toolchains: GitLab CI/CD, container registries, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform, Helm.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools (Trivy, Grype, SonarQube, Veracode) and software supply chain security practices (SBOMs, Cosign, SLSA).
  • Experience with FedRAMP, CMMC, DoD IL4/IL5, or ATO processes.
  • Experience delivering software to classified or air-gapped networks.
  • Familiarity with hardened container standards (Iron Bank, Chainguard, distroless images).
  • Relevant certifications: Security+, Cloud+, CySA+, Solutions Architect, PMP, Scrum/Agile.
