Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Develop and collaborate on a plan to integrate the Kinney Homecare supply chain into the existing KPH Healthcare Services infrastructure to improve delivery timeliness and reduce operational expenses.
  • Streamline purchasing to secure the best prices, quantity discounts, and drop-ship costs.
  • Maintain high stock accuracy within Brightree.
  • Track serialized and non-serialized items to ensure proper depreciation and maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure items have correct Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System codes and documentation for Medicare and Medicaid audits.
  • Oversee receiving new shipments and staging equipment.
  • Establish a process for performing and properly reporting monthly cycle counts, including reports and evaluations of dead stock, high-turnover items, and inventory valuation.
  • Develop a system for evaluating vendor quotations using negotiation and purchasing techniques to ensure quality, price, delivery, and service.
  • Work directly with vendor partners to develop expertise in purchased goods and build relationships that reduce cost of goods sold.
  • Purchase goods and supplies based on compound annual growth rate.
  • Maintain stocking levels for each facility while balancing churn and allowable spacing.
  • Maintain just-in-time inventory for high-churn disposables.
  • Oversee storage, labeling, and handling of oxygen in all forms, including traceability for recalls and tracking cylinder-test expiration dates and vendor requalification.
  • Submit invoices for timely processing.
  • Prepare requisitions, orders, and other documents for purchasing or requisitioning stock items.
  • Ensure appropriate personnel receive education and training on company purchasing systems and procedures.
  • Educate all branches on receiving processes and procedures and provide a continuity manual.
  • Educate all branches on adding inventory to the revenue cycle management system so billing can occur promptly, and provide accessible support.
  • Review inventory records for accuracy and procedural compliance and determine whether stock levels are adequate.
  • Trace item histories to identify causes of discrepancies between inventory and stock-control records and recommend corrective actions.
  • Oversee and manage inventory in closet locations and build a reconciliation program with operations and billing to track inventory movements.
  • Compile stock-control records and information, including consumption rates, item characteristics, and market conditions, to determine supply needs and replenishment.
  • Assist service technicians and drivers with warranty replacements and returns.
  • Assist service technicians with broken equipment.
  • Work with Human Resources to develop a procedure for tracking annual and new-hire competency assessments.
  • Educate customer service representatives on troubleshooting concentrators and required procedures, including a continuity manual.
  • Provide education and training on preventive equipment maintenance.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
