  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Experience working for a family office is preferred
  • Familiarity with tax filing deadlines and liaising with outside tax preparers
  • Accounting degree is required
  • High proficiency with Excel and Word, and expert level experience with QuickBooks is required
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, proactive, discreet, and trustworthy
Responsibilities
  • Bookkeeping, recordkeeping, and general ledger maintenance for personal entities owned by Managing Partner
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements along with other recurring or ad-hoc reports
  • Facilitate bank reconciliations, manage cash movement, and oversee insurance coverage
  • Manage accounts payable and related documentation
  • Implement process improvements
  • Manage chart of accounts
  • Assistance with property management and vendor management, 1099 preparation for multiple entities
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion
