This position is approved for remote work in the following states only: WA, WI, TX, MT, GA and FL.
We’re looking for a Director of Lifecycle Marketing who can nimbly move between leading a team of CRM strategists, effectively guiding and driving global CRM strategy, and providing product marketing leadership for product initiatives. This role is responsible for applying CRM marketing strategies and tactics to drive Rover pet parents and sitters’ engagement throughout their life cycles.
This role will report to the Chief Marketing Officer.
Key responsibilities:
- Be the one-mind for Rover global lifecycle marketing strategy
- Lead a team of CRM strategists for pet parents and sitters
- Owner of annual budget and quarterly forecast for the lifecycle marketing department
- Partner with growth marketing team to develop and execute a playbook to leverage paid marketing to drive new account activation, increase repeat customer engagements, and expand customer LTV
- Partner with the product management team to communicate new feature launches and product updates. Play the role of product marketing.
- Partner with international team to develop and execute international CRM strategy at each market level, and determine the right channel mix for each market
- Partner with Marketplace team to develop and execute communication plans to help reduce diversion
- Be a key participant and contributor to cross-functional trust and safety initiatives
- Inspire, recruit, and develop a high performing team aligned with Rover’s core values
- Ensure OKRs (objectives and key results) directly support Rover’s overall success; interact and build relationships with, and effectively influence, senior leaders on opportunities and impacts related to areas of responsibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5-8 years of experience preferred
- 5+ years of management experience. Proven experience in coaching, mentoring and developing team members
- Passionate pet lover and Rover sitter experience preferred
- Strong strategic acumen and knowledge of CRM best practices are a must
- Ability to effectively manage cross-functional relationships and influence decisions up and across organization
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
Compensation:
- In the greater Seattle area the first year salary range is $188,370 - $250,532. Additionally Rover offers equity (RSU’s) and benefits to all employees.
- The cash compensation offered for this role will be dependent on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills and abilities as demonstrated in the interview and hiring process.
