Requirements
  • Five years of experience as a secretary or administrative assistant.
  • Ability to complete clerical and secretarial duties and follow direction.
  • Ability to work with people in a diplomatic manner and work independently or with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in basic and some advanced features of Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Visio, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 50 pounds, frequently lift or carry up to 25 pounds, and stand or walk at least six hours during an eight-hour workday.
  • Ability to frequently stoop, crouch, and handle objects, with occasional fingering or fine manipulation.
Responsibilities
  • Arrange and schedule meetings and appointments and maintain the calendar.
  • Complete payroll documentation and submit it according to Network policy when required.
  • Compose routine correspondence for signatures.
  • Maintain electronic and paper files of contracts, correspondence, and related materials.
  • Communicate by telephone, screen calls, and refer callers to the appropriate person.
  • Maintain awareness of the department budget and work within its resources.
  • Update organizational policy, procedure manuals, and related documents.
  • Prepare meeting packages as directed.
  • Take meeting minutes and attend other meetings as directed.
  • Use dictation systems, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Outlook, and other computer systems as needed.
  • Design and maintain databases as needed.
  • Handle complaints appropriately and ensure complete follow-through according to Network policy.
  • Set up meetings, meeting rooms, meeting packages, and required meeting resources.
  • Assist the Administrator in achieving agency goals through patient interaction, correspondence, responsiveness, and proactive communication.
  • Gather and record data as requested.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Graduation from a secretarial or business administration program.
  • Tact, courtesy, initiative, and sound judgment.
  • Participation in in-service and continuing education programs.
