Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of five years serving as a practice manager is required.
  • Maintain information confidentially.
  • Maintain knowledge of and confirm completion of annual compliance, safety, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion training requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Exercise initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making while conducting physician support activities to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Recommend, develop, and implement improvements for the practice.
  • Monitor improvements and expectations across financial, clinical, revenue-cycle management, patient-care/outcomes, and communication areas.
  • Inform executive leadership about current trends, problems, and medical activities to facilitate policy making.
  • Establish, secure approval for, and provide oversight of clinic operating policies and procedures.
  • Participate in and coordinate physician, provider, and team-member recruitment.
  • Develop and participate in team-member performance evaluations.
  • Oversee the practice's business and financial affairs.
  • Resolve medical-administrative problems and maintain communication with teammates to support a professional clinic environment.
  • Oversee practice passive income.
  • Review quarterly call schedules before publication.
  • Develop and oversee ancillary services.
  • Support clinic managers with oversight of the recall process and utilization of vascular laboratory technicians.
  • Manage all applicable licenses specific to providers and the location.
  • Research new technology for process improvement.
  • Submit monthly reports for all practice programs and service lines.
  • Support the clinic team and managers with patient-related issues and complaints.
  • Support the Director of Revenue Cycle with workflow changes related to clinic billing and collections.
  • Communicate with the group purchasing organization representative regarding savings opportunities.
  • Handle all incident reports within the practice and submit them to appropriate agencies.
  • Identify and report compliance issues or concerns to the Compliance Officer for resolution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
