  • As the People Operations Coordinator, you will ensure that the day-to-day operations of the People Team are seamless and efficient
  • You are largely responsible for HR admin tasks and will assist in the project management of all People Operations programs
  • You will help to optimize and improve the employee experience throughout the entirety of an employee's journey at Chief, striving to create a more meaningful work experience for all team members
  • You will play an essential role on the People Operations team and will collaborate on process optimization and data integrity
  • You will support various employee-focused programs and initiatives, providing operational and administrative support, and will be responsible for other ad-hoc projects and assignments as needed
Responsibilities
  • Support new hire onboarding by completing I-9 verifications, reporting on completion of tasks, benefits enrollments, new hire gifting orders, and working with hiring managers to properly guide them and their new hire throughout the onboarding process
  • Provide high-touch employee support by monitoring, responding, and escalating employee questions and concerns, while analyzing queries to recommend process improvements or supplemental resources
  • Maintain appropriate level of process, program, and policy knowledge in order to support team members and field inquiries accurately
  • Support People Operations team with all HRIS-related data changes and personnel information compliance, ensuring all employee changes (new hires, terminations, and transfers) are properly tracked, communicated, and updated in a timely manner
  • Perform regular audits to ensure data accuracy, integrity, completeness, and compliance
  • Assist with implementing compliance initiatives and templates that can be utilized for initiatives including document retention policy for team member information, data protection, and associated trainings
  • Ensure HR-related training materials and resources are up-to-date and relevant to provide a seamless experience for employees
  • Track and file all personnel documents such as employee offer letters, supporting I-9 documents, and NDAs within HRIS system
  • Participate in testing, implementation, and process enhancements within the HR technology stack
  • Manage the employee offboarding process such as submitting offboarding requests to IT
  • Responsible for updating company All-Hands deck preparation for team updates and milestones (anniversaries, birthdays, promotions)
  • Assist with ongoing People Operations and HR-related projects, programs, and initiatives
  • Proven organizational skills with high attention to detail and the capacity to prioritize and efficiently execute against varying responsibilities
  • You are people-first oriented with regard to providing employees with the best possible experience
  • The capability to work autonomously, collaboratively, and the ability and desire to engage with and support team members throughout the employee lifecycle
  • A passion for helping to build workplaces where everyone feels a sense of belonging

  • Comfortable with data auditing techniques (pivot tables, Xlookups, Vlookups, ect.)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Proven experience to quickly adapt new HR-related software tools and programs
  • Experience in a similar role, ideally in a high growth organization
