Requirements
  • Enrollment in a Master's or Ph.D. program in computer vision, visual computing, or related disciplines
  • Strong background in computer vision, numerical optimization, and linear algebra
  • Ability to conduct independent research with minimum supervision
  • Research experience demonstrated through implementing methods from top-tier conferences in computer vision, computational photography, and deep learning
  • Familiarity with neural rendering and computational photography techniques
  • Extensive experience with DL frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
  • Excellent coding skills in Python
Responsibilities
  • Work with a close-knit, passionate group of world-class researchers and scientists
  • Tackle challenging problems in generative neural rendering, including neural video compositing in-the-wild, with applications to inpainting and clean plate generation
  • Given challenging research problems and provided with a clear project plan during the course of the internship
  • Advance the state of the art or bring unique scientific value to the business
Desired Qualifications
  • Research experience with demonstrated publication record at top-tier conferences in computer vision/graphics, and deep learning such as ICCV, CVPR, and SIGGRAPH
  • Hands-on experience with GANs and inpainting techniques, especially facial image synthesis and video-to-video translation methods
  • Familiarity with image and video segmentation techniques such as semantic face segmentation and video matting
