Job Description
- Contribute to new PCBA designs and participate in inclusive design reviews.
- Investigate deficiencies and improve designs while considering performance and cost, promoting inclusivity at every step.
- Work with sub-systems including switching regulators and power management, motor controllers and control theory, analog sensors, Serial interface, DDR interface, and High-speed interfaces.
- Perform validation tests to ensure that various sub-systems are working as expected, using various approaches and exercises tailored to HDD testing.
- Utilize basic knowledge of analog and digital circuits and foster an inclusive environment for learning and collaboration.
- Conduct trials, capture data, evaluate results against criteria, and create detailed reports
- Continuously improve validation tests by enhancing test automation, test coverage, and efficiency, promoting diversity in our methodologies.

PCB, analog or digital design and/or verification - ASIC digital or mixed-signal design and/or verification - FW design and/or verification - Computer System architecture NAND, NVM experience highly desirable, NVM or Storage systems experience desirable
Qualifications
Right to work in the US without requiring Western Digital to commence or sponsor an immigration case to employ you (for example, H-1B or other employment-based immigration case)
Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field and graduating between May 2024 and December 2024
Minimum of 3.0 GPA
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Interest in HDD, flash, semiconductor, components, nonvolatile memory industry -
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Team player who can collaborate with colleagues
