C.H. Robinson is currently seeking an Assistant Treasurer to be a change and thought leader with oversight of the global corporate treasury strategy and treasury operations, including international cash management, cash flow optimization, capital allocation strategy, risk management, managing liquidity and bank relationships. In this role you will analyze cash operations and banking fees to identify and implement opportunities to lower costs and improve compliance. This leadership position reports to the Vice President, Treasurer, Corporate Development & Insurance Risk Management and works collaboratively within Treasury and various finance and business stakeholders. This role is responsible for leading a small team of direct reports.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day-to-day liquidity needs across the globe
- Maintain and utilize rolling cash flow forecast to make investing/borrowing recommendations
- Analyze global cash and banking structure to identify and implement opportunities to increase efficiency and lower costs
- Identify, influence, and implement opportunities to make existing processes more efficient and enable new capabilities
- Analyze cash flow variances to improve forecasting reliability and liquidity planning
- Develops and oversees FX risk management, hedge effectiveness and FX trading
- Assisting with the final stages of implementation for the Treasury Management System (Kyriba) and identify improvements as needed
- Strategically utilize Kyriba to identify additional opportunities to increase efficiency and lower costs around the globe
- Identify and lead large, global strategic projects and partner with cross functional teams
- Oversees debt and interest exposures, investing activities as well as intercompany settlements and funding processes
- Responsible for capital allocation strategy (dividends, share repurchase, subsidiary capital contributions)
- Reviews/approves quarterly financial reporting (10K-10Q), supervise quarterly treasury reporting and valuation matters
- Ensure compliance with all treasury policies, SOX controls and regulatory requirements
- Maintain and manage bank relationships and collaborate with them to leverage as an extension of Treasury team
- Collaborate with regional finance leadership to implement practices and policies that better leverage our global scale
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
- Stay abreast of changes in the Treasury landscape and establish and implement new processes and technologies where appropriate
- Cultivate a high performing team by building skills through coaching, mentoring and ongoing training and development
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- 10+ years’ experience in global treasury in a complex, multinational environment with global cash management
- 5+ years’ supervisory/management experience; proven success developing talent
- Up to 15% domestic or international travel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience implementing or working with Kyriba treasury management system

Compensation Range
$129,900.00 - $216,000.00
