Requirements
  • 14 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in STEM, or a Master’s Degree with 12 years, or a PhD with 9 years
  • Full knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) with 8+ years of practical application
  • Experience with leading/mentoring a team on programs as a Cost Account Manager (CAM) perspective
  • Experience leading the development of detailed harness design, the ability to collaborate and work on a team, and be a self-sufficient independent worker
  • Familiar with general harness related design concepts and how that equates to costing and scheduling
  • Able to prioritize, execute and delegate tasks in a high-pressure, dynamic environment
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills with the ability to portray various levels of information to different management levels.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the costing & scheduling development for the Harness subsystem on major programs from initial RFP efforts through end of program life.
  • Support engineering staff through IMS scheduling tasking for spacecraft harness design (to include wirelist, schematic, BOM etc.), as well as flight part procurement activities, and manufacturing mock-up designs.
  • Provide monthly reporting to various levels of management and program management on subsystem status. To include: variances, cost reporting, procurement activities and manufacturing etc.
  • Provide technical leadership in harness process development
  • Support programs in a technical lead role that ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total harness subsystem solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Interfacing with design and manufacturing groups to monitor component production process/progress to include Integration & Test (I&T) and relaying that status to management along with potential solutions to stay on target.
  • Candidate must be comfortable with managing program execution from a Technical perspective, meeting deadlines, working on multiple projects concurrently, and working with various engineering disciplines and internal/external customers as required.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience using/interfacing with Creo Schematics/parametric and supporting modeling and/or the fabrication of harnesses.
  • Active Top Secret clearance, or the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred).
