TRACTIAN provides an AI-powered IoT maintenance platform for industrial equipment, helping manufacturers and food processors monitor machines in real time and predict failures to schedule proactive maintenance. The system collects continuous sensor data and uses AI analytics to generate real-time alerts and insights, optimizing maintenance plans and reducing unplanned downtime. It differentiates itself with a centralized, easy-to-use platform and a subscription model that includes ongoing updates and analytics. The goal is to help businesses avoid downtime, extend machinery life, lower maintenance costs, and improve product quality through data-driven maintenance decisions.

Tractian has secured R$120.1 million from BNDES to develop inspection and predictive maintenance robots. The funding, from the BNDES Mais Inovação programme, will support a project combining advanced robotics, precision sensing, and AI to anticipate industrial equipment failures. The project runs until June 2028 and aims to create a new industrial inspection product, file 20 patents, and hire 421 employees, including 150 in research and development. Tractian says unplanned machinery downtime costs the world's 500 largest companies about $1.4 trillion annually, equivalent to 11% of annual revenue. This marks Tractian's first public funding. Founded in 2019, the company previously raised capital exclusively through venture rounds, last closing a R$700 million Series C in December 2024 led by Sapphire Ventures, valuing it at R$4 billion.
BNDES approves R$ 120.1 million for Tractian's industrial robotics project. August 4, 2026 The Brazilian National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) has approved R$ 120.1 million in financing, through the BNDES Mais Inovação program, for Tractian Tecnologia to invest in research, development, and innovation. The project of the São Paulo-based company involves the development of a new generation of robotic assistants for predictive inspection and maintenance of industrial equipment. The solution being developed by Tractian will integrate advanced robotics, high-precision sensing, and artificial intelligence, with the goal of anticipating failures and supporting maintenance in industrial facilities. The investment plan includes expenses for its own research and development team, as well as the acquisition of components and equipment necessary for the planned activities. "The funding approved by BNDES will contribute to research, development, and innovation activities in Brazil. The project brings together different technologies applied to industrial inspection and maintenance and foresees the hiring of qualified professionals for its execution," says the president of BNDES, Aloizio Mercadante. The company anticipates hiring 421 new employees during the implementation phase, while maintaining the jobs created after the investments are completed. Of this total, 150 positions will be for research and development professionals. "The funding accelerates a line of research that we have been building for years: using robotics, sensing, and AI to raise the level of protection for the industry's most critical assets. The 150 R&D positions and the 20 patents projected from the project are the technical result of a strategic decision: to develop this technology with Brazilian engineering, and in Brazil," highlighted Gabriel Lima, COO and co-founder of Tractian. The project is scheduled to run until June 2028. Expected results include the development of a new product for industrial inspection and the filing of 20 patent applications related to research and development activities.
Officials: Midtown's Coda at Tech Square complex on leasing roll. Block-sized West Peachtree Street innovation hub inks office deals with growing AI companies. March 11, 2026, 1:49PM Josh Green 2 Comments Seven years after it officially debuted, a high-rise complex built to be Midtown's beating heart of technological innovation has signed a lease with another growing, AI-focused company. Atlanta-based, national developer Portman announced this week AI security company Airia has signed a lease for 10,000 square feet of offices at Coda at Tech Square, with plans to graduate up from a coworking space at the 756 W. Peachtree St. complex next month. Airia, described as a "rapidly growing enterprise AI security, orchestration, and governance platform," was founded 16 months ago and has grown to about 170 employees and 500 customers. The company's plans at Coda call for establishing a centralized hub for future growth. Airia's commitment at Coda follows a lease recently inked with another growing AI company, Tractian, a platform designed to prevent industrial machine failures and increase production. Courtesy of Portman Courtesy of Portman Tractian committed to nearly 22,000 square feet of space at Coda, which Portman officials say helps reinforce the building's status as a top destination for next-generation tech firms, with access to Midtown's business ecosystem, Georgia Tech, MARTA, and Atlanta's airport. "Coda places us directly within one of the country's most cutting-edge environments, surrounded by talent, research, and enterprise partners," said Kevin Kiley, Airia CEO, in this week's announcement. "This location allows us to scale our platform and help organizations adopt AI quickly, securely, and with confidence." Airia's platform specializes in deploying AI for large organizations in highly regulated, complex environments. Its leadership team includes Atlanta tech industry success stories, including John Marshall, president and CEO of AirWatch. Inside a Coda social area with Tech Square views. Courtesy of Portman After several years of planning and construction, the 21-story, block-sized Coda building opened in May 2019 as the first of three new John Portman and Associates-designed office towers neighboring each other on Midtown's West Peachtree Street. The glassy, L-shaped structure stands just north of 4th Street, between Spring and West Peachtree streets, and features 25,000 square feet of retail, 20,000 square feet of outdoor space, and a 9.6-MW data center. Coda claims 650,000 square feet of office space total, with some tenants linked together by a 17-story spiral staircase. (Georgia Tech, the anchor tenant, leases about half of that square footage.) Another signature, anchor feature is the building's Collaborative Core, a 35,000-square-foot social and working space. Capital Real Estate Group represented Airia in the Coda lease.
