- Demonstrated ability to define problems, supervise studies and lead surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions
- Demonstrated leadership and expertise in identifying, planning, developing, and executing techniques aligned with labor category mission
- Demonstrates extensive ability to provide strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to organizational senior leadership and policymakers
- Minimum 12 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to Information Technology with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years
- Master's degree
- Review and examine existing infrastructure system performance for potential bottlenecks
- For any identified infrastructure issues/bottlenecks, name possible solutions, and work with developers/engineers to apply those fixes
- Plan the overall design of infrastructure information and operational support systems
- Engage in the planning/engineering of solutions/strategies for networking, storage/backup, redundancy, security and data center operations
- Assist in the development of strategies for the configuration, testing, maintenance, and installation of application software, system hardware, system management tools, and operating systems
- Continually work to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Consult with vendors and other IT personnel as needed for the development of problem resolution strategies specifically relating to IT infrastructure
