Job Description

As an Event Server at Oliver & Bonacini, you will play a vital role in creating unforgettable guest experiences. You’ll be part of a dynamic, collaborative team that delivers elevated service with grace and professionalism. Whether it’s a wedding, corporate gala, or private celebration, you will help bring events to life — masterfully setting the stage, ensuring seamless food and beverage service, and leaving a lasting impression on every guest.

The Day to Day:

• Expertly set event spaces including tables, décor, service stations, and more
• Collaborate closely with event and culinary teams to ensure smooth food and drink service
• Provide thoughtful, attentive service that anticipates guest needs and enhances their experience
• Demonstrate excellent food and wine knowledge, confidently describing menu items and pairings
• Uphold Oliver & Bonacini’s service standards with a polished, professional presence
• Adapt quickly to guest needs and changing event flow
• Assist with all phases of event execution, including setup and breakdown
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment

Qualifications

• Valid Smart Serve certification required
• Proven experience in event service or hospitality 
• Excellent food and wine knowledge and ability to describe 
• A passion for guest service and creating memorable moments
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to remain composed under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
